Product Description:
One of the best of the blacksploitation scores from the early 70s -- thanks largely to some great work by JJ Johnson! Johnson keeps some nice grooves in the tracks -- especially on the instrumental version of the main theme, which is a great sample track, and on some of the more action-oriented tunes on the record. The whole thing's really great overall -- issued here for the first time on CD, with excellent notes and photos. Also includes Joe Simon's vocal version of "Cleopatra Jones", plus "Go Chase Cleo", "Goin To The Chase", "Wrap Up", and "Airport Fight".
