Product Description:
Three track twelve previewing forthcoming album tracks from lyricist Dom G whilst Unsung Heroes, Apollo and Peepin Tom provide the beats. A-side ‘Feelin Me’ works a diluted bhangra angle with powerful digital stabs and an uplifting chorus hook – the production is solid but with a tainted progressive edge. UK rap vet Dom G rides the beat with charismatic wordplay and precise diction. On the flipside ‘Da Heat’ uses a swirling slightly monotonous beat but tight lyrics bring this cut to life. Last up ‘You Don’t Know?’ allows Dom to flip quirky battle-hardened couplets across a truly melodious composition. This final track absolutely smacks it – blending multiple musical layers to killer effect. Overall, a twelve that ensures I’ll be checking for the solo LP dropping later in 05. Niceness.
